Start with the included README, then follow the guided setup for your companion, Sunshine, and private connection. The Android app and optional virtual-screen setup are included.

After downloading

  1. Extract the ZIP on the PC you want to control and open its README.
  2. Run the guided setup. An internet connection and administrator access are required for dependency installation.
  3. Install the included Android app and pair it with your PC. Browser host enrollment requires an invitation from the service owner.

Sunshine, Tailscale, and browser host setup are guided; some components download online. The kit is for Windows x64. The phone app is for Android.

Set up your Linux desktop for the same Android app and browser account connection. Includes the companion, browser connector, Android app, and README.

After downloading

  1. Extract the tar.gz on the Linux PC you want to control and open its README.
  2. Follow the setup script in a signed-in desktop session. Internet and sudo access are required for dependencies.
  3. Pair the Android app or use the browser from your phone or another computer. Browser setup includes account approval and a local pairing-code helper.

Ubuntu 24.04+ / Debian 13+ x64 desktop setup. Some components download online. Extra virtual screens and headless setup are not included in this first Linux kit.

Downloads start in order, with up to ten file transfers at once. Each file is limited to 1 Mbps (about 125 KB/s), for up to 10 Mbps total. Your browser handles the download and its progress.

PC Remote is a modified Moonlight Android client. Matching source and license notices are available beside the app download.
